On February 17th we went for a short trip of four days to Athens. We had chosen Athens because we wanted to go to the south but we didn't want to fly too far. It was indeed warmer than in Germany (around 10 to 15 degrees) but still a bit too cold to really enjoy it as it was too early in the year. We had a very nice central Hotel and we could reach everything by walking. My impression was that Athens needs sun to develop it's flair which we had in the first two days.
