Unfortunately I had to pause the start-of-season-activities for a few weeks as I had a carpal tunnel syndrome surgery. Especially my right hand was affected constantly since several months. During last years trip in the alps the problems increased and for some days I couldn't even really sleep. Now the surgery is done and I am looking forward to start cycling again. It is now two days after the surgery and everything feels good. So far I am recovering very good. I would be happy to have the chance to practice before leaving to Cape Town beginning of March. Every bit would help to participate somewhat more ambitiously.

Roadbike cycling is passion.

I'm a middle aged man trying to enjoy life and stay healthy as long as possible. I started this blog to summarize my experiences and impressions and to share them with others who might be interested in it.
